Hi friends, because of my busy schedule I couldn’t post any new articles in my blog recently. Today with some patience I have started something to write. First of all, I have just remembered something that it’s been one year since I have been here in Korea. And look at the time, it really flies….during this one year I had lots of experiences with the good and bad memories. As we know, life goes on no matter what comes in between. As I have a lot of dreams and wishes when I left my country and these dreams are meant to be true as far as I know. I have no regret that I came here and with it I got many new experiences in life here in Korea. We think people from different parts of the world have different thinking, perspectives and ideas but it’s not true always in the sence of feelings. When somebody comes in this world, the almighty has provided everyone with a mind and soul which are the essentials for the thinking and feeling. So the thinking and feeling for every human being is similar except in the few cases. Yes, it can be different between the people from the various parts of the world but it is merely because of the environment and the culture they are growing in.
In fact, I want to write about one distinct topic today but in my first paragraph I have explained about the feelings and emotions which came out suddenly from my mind. Today, when I was about to write in my blog I had something about movies in my mind but these feeling and emotion kinds of thing left it out. As we know that it is never too late for the good things, so I will go with my topic “Movies” this time no matter what. Then, from where should I start? Ok then..I will start from the opinion of mine towards the movies or films. I don’t know whether it is good or bad but truly I am a standard movie buff. And this is also true that if I will get some classical, well-made and excellent movie’s DVDs from any genres then I can stay in one single room for whole lots of days without any concern with the outer world. Movies are solid entertainment provider for the people and with-it the movie’s characters are also based upon the real life of the people. So, they find some of the characters in the movies are quit related to them which will fascinate them in the strong way. As far as I know, the first movie I had watched may be the Hindi movie “AAR-PAAR“, but actually I am not sure and I can’t remember the cast and crews of that film too. But the movie which stuck in my memory when I first watch was a Hindi movie “SHOLAY“. It had created a huge impact inside me when I first saw it and the particular scene when Amitabh Bachchan dies was the most memorable scene in my those days. Actually this film is the most successful film of the Indian film industry till date. I never get tired of watching this movie and each and every time when I watch this movie it feels like I am watching it for the first time. I think this is the only movie in which every character is remembered by his screen name rather than his own name. For example, the character called “SAMVA “who speaks once at the movie is also quit popular among the audiences. After that, the saga continues till date and still going strong with the movies relesed on every Friday… 😉
In case of Nepali movies I think I had watched “KUSUME RUMAL” as my first movie. And when I remember that time, there were two heroes in that movie and one of them was a professional singer in off screen. Somebody had told me the fact that Udit Narayan Jha (One actor of this movie) had sang all the songs from that movie. So, when I went to see that movie and the scene when a song called Timi na vaye… was playing, I was so excited and told somebody besides me that the main singer was sitting in the Sofa with a heroine and the other man (Bhuvan K.C.) was just a lip singer, and I thought what a joke hahaaaaa….so, that’s the thinking of my innocent mind that time. Actually nepali old movies like Kusume Rumal, Bashudev, Paralko Aago, Samjhana, Dakshina, Kumari, Sindoor, Aanaya, Saino, Chino, Balidan and few others are far better than the movies which were recently being made. In this regard I can’t explain much because I haven’t watched any nepali movies since 5 or 6 years before. It’s not a proud moment for me to saying that we can evaluate the conditions of our movies when we watch their footage on the television. It’s merely a copy from one of the hindi movies. When our directors will think one step ahead than copying from others? We can make good cinema in the small budget. For example, we can take our own classic movies which I had mentioned earlier. They are also a nepali movies and made by the moderate budget of good old days.
Let’s talk about the Hollywood movies now, so how did you start to watch hollywood movies? In my case, I don’t remember exactly the first Hollywood movie I had watched but I know that it may had happened with the action movies, probably Van Damm, Sylverster stallone, Arnold and Jacki Chan starrer. That time I didn’t know much about the movies and I used to watch these kinds movie just for the deadly action sequences, with the great enthusiasm. After my intermediate level, I had started to take hollywood movies seriously and watched many movies with different genres. When I watched the Hollywood all time blockbuster hit “TITANIC”, then I had the great impressions upon my heart with the Hollywood movies. Actually I loved everything about that movie and I was wondered how these Hollywood studios can create such a marvelous set to make that disastrous incident live on the silver screen. The great impact factor of that movie for me was Oscar awarded song “My heart will go on…too.” I remember that time when this song had more than 100 remixes and remade tunes. This is such a beautiful and romantic song and still I use to hum this song when I feel love and passion. After that this saga also continues with a lot of golden classics like The Godfather trilogy, Gone with the Wind, Psycho, Forrest Gump, It happened one Night, The Silence of the Lambs, The sixth sense, When Harry met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, Meet the Parents and the list goes on and on….So, If you are a movie buff like me, then check out these great movies of all time too…..
